Vic Sotto Defends "Enteng Kabisote 3"

In the midst of controversies in annual Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), Vic Sotto is blissful that "Enteng Kabisote 3" finally won the Best Picture Award on its third try. As usual, the result of the MMFF is stirring up intrigues, questioning Vic’s entry for winning the award since it is a children movie. Also, his movie failed to win other major awards including “Best Picture”, “Best Actor/Actress”.

Vic is quick to respond in saying that they are working hard each year to produce a highly entertaining movie. He suggest instead that everyone should be delighted with the results of Philippine’s movie industry in general. Citing this year’s festival reached more than P500 Million in sales proving that the industry just resurrected.

“The top grosser gets 40 percent of votes.” Was his statement in defending his film as it overtook competitors “Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo” and “Shake Rattle and Roll 5” in terms of box-office sales.

”We do our brain storming prior to post production. We make sure we give what the movie goers want”. Vic added as he reveals the secret of consecutive successes of "Enteng Kabisote."
