Rivermaya Rocks Singapore

Rivermaya awed foreign music fans when they performed in 11th Asian TV Awards held at Suntec City, Singapore. The pop/rock band labeled as “Ang Banda Ng Bayan”, entertained 20, 000 electrified fans from different countries in Asia. Delivered them music that made them won the Favorite Artist Philippines at MTV Asia Awards in 2005.

The 11th Asian TV Awards is the region's premier awards program for the broadcasting and production fraternity throughout Asia; Last year, the awards covered 1,400 entries from 15 countries, over 33 categories from news & documentary to entertainment.

The band also performed together with other top stars from Hongkong and India in the re-launch of Channel V in Singapore. The same music program had chosen Rivermaya as its “Singled Out” Artist for November 2006, the first Filipino artist to be given this distinction.
